“A man with leprosy came to him and begged him on his knees, ‘If you are willing, you can make me clean.’ Jesus was indignant. He reached out his hand and touched the man. ‘I am willing,’ he said. ‘Be clean!'”
Just as Naaman experienced the cleansing power of God, Jesus demonstrates the same compassion by healing a leper. In the ancient world, leprosy brought isolation, but Jesus touched the untouchable, showing that no one is beyond the reach of His healing love. This story reassures us that God’s heart is always willing to heal and restore, no matter how broken or unclean we feel.
