This project aims at providing Old Testament for the Jur Modo people. It targets all the Jur Modo speaking audiences, old, young, those in the church and and outside the church. The translation will use a common and easy language to make the message of the Bible accessible to the average reader. The request came from the church leaders and the Jur Modo Language Committee. The Bible Society in South Sudan is experienced in working with translation projects and has a TC and a Project Coordinator. Translators are chosen with recommendations from the churches and community and a working place is available.
